How dare you David....on OTD-really!?
An amazing piece and was even allowed to try on next to a single red yesterday. One of the punchiest DRSD I have ever seen-not that I have seen many in the flesh. Purple indeed and that patina.....anyway, could not resist. Wear it in good heath as we say....
Jamey
: A slightly tropical MKIII dial, rarely seen seen on this
: iteration..depending on the light, it is either grey, a shade of
: purple?, or a very dark brown..but in any event, the patina on
: the hands and markers is beautiful, not to mention the domed
: crystal, and most importantly, the reason we wear a watch, the
: impeccable timekeeping, 3 seconds lost over 72 hrs, and this on
: a 38 year old watch..pretty good I say!
: Cheers,
: David
