I agree with you. I think you have proven your experience in these markets already for some years. People should learn.
My personal experience is that prices are settling down for the most Heuer's, only the top quality pieces remain strong and even gain in value. However the mass of what's on the market (and what is original ofcourse) is experiencing the economical malaise.
A very simple example: Untill a few months ago we saw a Caliber 11/12 selling for 800 euro's easily. In the last three weeks I saw 4 movements sell under 600 euro on ebay...some outside ebay were traded for less then 500 euro...whereas a few months ago prices were much stronger. Values are very much going up and down in the last couple of months. I also refer to the boxes...curious what the next box on ebay will sell for...
It will be a very interesting time ahead of us and I also think a lot of watches will become back available on the market.
