Longines watches

I'm interested in purchasing something from Longines. Are they higher-end fine watches or what? Are they reputable?

Particular Flagship models really appeal to me; they're sort of stylish but understated.

Anyhow, any Longines owners out there mind sharing their experiences/advice?
