Avoid last names?

It seems that it would be easy enough for unscrupulous folks to monitor boards for last names/trading activity etc. Probably not a bad idea to avoid public use of full names if possible. I realize that there are a lot of names in circulation already, but probably best to retain as much confidentiality as possible in the buying/selling arena.
