I'm afraid you're correct, it's the barrel. The dial's from an 1153. If you look at the barrels on OTD, you'll see they all have oval registers to match the case face, with the exception of the PVD model. This is a straightforward second gen dial. Hands etc are all correct though, it just wouldn't have left the factory with the dial it has now.
