Seems to me that people are hesitant to discuss upcoming auctions, and I am wondering why this is the case?

• Is it "cat and mouse", that people do not want to highlight interesting watches that they may want to bid on?
• Are people tired of bashing the ones with incorrect hands or refinished dials?
• Or maybe upcoming auctions are just not interesting / appropriate subjects for discussion?
