David writes: "The Montreal was one of a series of Chronographs launched during the 1970s by Heuer that was named after a motor racing track (including Monaco, Silverstone, Jarama and Daytona) and powered by Heuer’s Chronomatic Calibre 12 movement."

Well, actually, the Montreal chronograph was introduced in 1972 and the Montreal racing circuit (Île Notre-Dame Circuit) was opened in 1978; from 1971 to 1977, the Canadian Grand Prix was held at Mosport Park, in Bowmanville, Ontario . . . approximately 475 kilometers from Montreal. So the chronograph was not named after the racing circuit. I tried several times to have this corrected in Arno's publications, but with no success . . . and so it continues to be repeated to this day.
