Not the first gold Heuer we have seen overvalued by a jeweller with no real basis in fact, knowledge of prior sales etc. 12k (US?) would be high for the "named", very desirable golden Heuers (Carreras, by and large) and is a hige stretch for one of these 40s watches. I'd agree that somewhere around a quarter of that would be more appropriate.
