In Response To: Carrera Crowns & Witches ()

disaster about the signed crown on the carrera dato 45, i have learned alot since then and especially that the dato 45's had non signed crowns or smooth as you call them. come to think of it of all the examples i have seen on ebay.... none had a signed crown, so i'm guessing/leaning towards all datos had nonsigned crowns. anybody ever had or has a dato 45 with an original signed crown??

"I sort of believe fluted pusher = signed crown in all cases, but smooth pusher can be either crown."

interesting simple theory and as i think about it, it may be true?? except for the 510.501 lemania 5100. it has a nonsigned crown, but fluted pushers. oh well.....
