Hello, you all seems to forget that there's a different between the 980.006 and the 980.006L.
980.006 use ESA 536.121, this movement is thicker than the one used in a 980.006L.
980.006L (and all with a L) use a ESA 963.114
This the movement you need.
Search Ebay and you will somtimes find NOS cheap generic watches with this movement.
A ETA 2824 automatic will only fit a non L case.
