Re: Attention: 1960s Autavia Experts -- Sequence of Tachy Di

Hello,

for what i've seen, in the serial range 85000-86000 we can find both 2nd and 3rd excution dial for the 2446/3646. So there should have not been a 'transitional' dial between 2nd and 3rd.

The tachy dial seemed to me a very limited production, we don't know if it was born as special order, or for a particular market, but we saw it also into the dial archive of Tag Heuer so it was something 'official' and not a test never gone to market.

Serial of the following watch, one of the four 3-reg we have seen, found in Germany, is 95xxx, and falls in the middle of the production of the mk3 2446.
This makes me think there was not a separate batch allocation for these watches during the regular production of the Autavia.
