The Mareographe that I just purchased for $1400.00 was a bargain of sorts: I am now faced with a mechanical/cosmetic overhaul which will bring the overall cost of the watch up to, probably over, the cost of the Solunograph. I knew about the other watch before the Mareograhe came along,and I came really close to buying it. However as Shaun has iterated and I concur: it needed to have that little Heuer shield. If the Solunograph is what you are looking for, then grab it.
