why is the watch featured here in the OTD Monaco gallery? Anyone doing their due diligence may consider this an endorsement and that could be dangerous.
Some good points added and thanks for linking to the earlier discussion questionable history of this piece.
I had intended a more thorough reply harking back to the time when watches were debated with a degree of decorum and the clubhouse spirit but these extra facts negated most of what I wanted to say about the actual dial in questions. Let me just add a welcome to James and thank him for his intention to debate the merits of this watch and not necessarily endorse the seller. I think the recent history of this piece has not helped the owner in any way and cast more doubt on its authenticity.
