Hi James,
I feel your incoming attack was also aimed at me given the Outlook reference. When I came across the ebay listing, I simply thought OTD members might find it interesting (if they hadn't already seen it), particularly given the, shall we say, 'challenging' dial and the fact it was already entrenched in the OTD archives. I had simply never noticed those particular shots before in the gallery, even after many years of using the site.
Anyway, I have nothing to do with the watch and I hope you are able to find your place here.
Best regards,
Lee Robinson

: Wow, is this how all newcomers to OTD are welcomed!!!
: This is an open discussion forum so I'll post as much as I like
: whilst remaining sincere and genuine, which is all I have been
: here while you have basically just attacked me from behind your
: keyboard because you are paranoid all this is some attempt at a
: scam. I'm still failing to understand why anything I have put
: could result in trying to scam someone..
: 'Us' refers to the fact that this is a forum full of people
: discussing things and as you are not explaining why you feel it
: is fake I ask for you to explain to 'us' the people on the
: forum.
: I don't have to justify myself to you. I don't know who you are as
: much as you don't know me. Would you be so rude if we were face
: to face. I'm sure 'your' community is a great place and I do
: know several people that operate on here but would never want to
: draw them into this kind of discussion as I have more respect
: for them than having you spout your angst.
: Maybe you could invite some of the 'legitimate' people you know on
: here to comment on this thread and see if they feel how you are
: carrying on is normal behaviour for OTD.
: Ok, so you believe the Monaco being sold if not right but have you
: looked at the seller??? The eBay listing has recently been
: relisted and states what they think about the dial, emails from
: Ralf and the German guy and even asks for Heuer specialists to
: let them know their thoughts. I'm guessing they are hoping for
: more than just someone repeatedly putting 'It's fake' 'It's
: fake'... Why would they be being so open if they were trying to
: scam someone especially on a marketplace where they sell plenty
: of vintage watches and jewellery regularly and have considerably
: high feedback.
: I suppose your response is now going to be 'great you have 3 posts,
: it's still a scam, scam, scam, fake, fake' maybe you should
: 'scram' and take your paranoia elsewhere.
