Wonderful Jeff! I am happy to help in any way that I can. I sent the serial of my 3647N to Mark yesterday as well as a movement shot and dial up shot. Let me know if you need anything else to get this project moving! Very excited to see what you find!!

: We have the Registry of Early Autavias, so why not the Carreras?
: Let's see whether we can get this project organized!! Perhaps Mark
: and I can suggest a parameter / highest number of interest, and
: then we can see how many we can find.
: One thing to point out -- just because a particular 3647 Carrera
: (or batch of them) have a number that is lower than the numbers
: on the 2447s, that does not mean that the 3647s were earlier or
: produced first. You have to imagine that Heuer introduced both
: models at the same time . . . so the numbers stamped on the
: first two sets of cases (for the first 3647s and the first
: 2447s) was probably somewhat random / arbitrary. Seems doubtful
: that either model would have been "earlier" . . . it's
: just that one of them (3647 or 2447) had to have the lower
: numbers.
