I think Michwir has a great point with them being a small batch/prototype/test dials for marketing. Some interesting points in favour for this is the advertisement you uploaded. It shows a very early heuer carrera 2447s with the narrow indices indicating these dials were mounted prior to the late serials we have seen. Another interesting point is that there is no Swiss on the 2447 dial which also adds up in favour for dials for marketing purposes.
