The market for the best watches is stronger than ever, just look at the 2446 1st in Sweden this past week.

For more normal, average watches sold in a package of 100, I guess there is a limit to prices achieved.

Like with houses where location, location, location is quoted, with watches right now it is very much, condition, rarity and desirability, if all three boxes are ticked the values achievable are stronger than ever.

: Does anyone know more about the results of the heuer100 auction?
: To my big surprise I had the winning offer on one of the watches.
: And my offer was ridiculously low.
: So I am asking myself if the auction was as successful as we all
: had expected.
: Or is the Heuer market in a downtrend? I do feel that the craziness
: might be over and that several collectors are becoming more
: cautious.
: Maybe it's just a little correction as we often can see in the
: stock market as well.
: Anyway I find things remarkably quiet when it comes to the results
: of the auction.
: Just some thoughts.
: Cheers,
: B
