Re: Heuer Carrera 2447S - Albino dial !!

Thank you, my friend !!!

So many MK2 dials fitted with hard to find MK1 hands ? Some of them from first owner watches! I still believe on a transitional time when both versions were fitted ! ;)

Cheers !!!!

: Of course mate, it is only opinions :) Early mk2 would be 91-94xxx,
: 100xxx are not early in the 2nd exec range.

: There are many Carrera with changed hands out in the market, yes I
: see them, maybe some are fitted from new but almost are not and
: of course if in doubt then looking for all the normal signs of
: originality should be the first step.

: As a general rule, black stripe hands should be fitted on 2nd exec
: from 91xxx onwards and short hands should be on scale hands and
: std length on plain "non scale" dials. 1st exec from
: 537xx to to 80xxx (on 2447) would be plain steel hands, with
: small possibility for early 91-94 range to have plain hands (but
: I'm not so sure about these 91-94xxx with plain steel hands
: myself and say so in the book).
