Re: What Jeff Said!
In Response To: Re: What Jeff Said! ()

I can only say that so far, people who have seen the watch in our auction previews in Geneva, Hong Kong, and New York have responded extremely positively to the original bezel! It has provoked many questions about how the bezel got like that and why it has that relatively high estimate of $40,000 to $80,000 for a Heuer with that damage (as many of our clients know nothing about Heuer watches). At least two people planning to bid on the watch said they would leave the original bezel on and that the originality of the watch appeals to them. Others would just swap out the bezel and that it would be no big deal.

Our auction is on Wednesday and I hope many of you will be bidding! Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else from me.

Best regards,
Eric Wind
