The new Autavia was inspired by the 2nd execution Autavia rather than the cushion case you mentioned, as I'm sure you're aware, but still a good comparison for most folks I'd guess based on sizing alone.
The Autavia I have at the moment is the Jack Heuer 85th Birthday Edition Autavia prototype, but is identical to the standard Autavia in every way except dial/hands, bezel insert and steel caseback instead of sapphire crystal.
I measured the JH at 15.7mm thick compared to 15.2mm of the 11630, however if you take the domed glass on the Autavia out it measures a far more respectable 13.7mm (to edge of bezel/glass).
