Mark, thank you for this helpful information – I never stop learning! I always assumed that only the early (eggshell) Carrera 3647/2447 S had "non-T-dials". Gary's non-T 3647 S with s/n 65XXX has the starburst dial.

: the marking began in '64 from when I looked at this before), so
: the watches at the start of the run shouldn't have it, then you
: get a mix depending on the intended market and eventually it was
: easier to just mark all the dials.
