I’m not sure that the movement, which is the same in both the Ltd Edts as the non Ltd Carrera Telemeter for example and at the same price, has much input into the value now or in the future. What matters is whether the supply outstrips demand, so the dial design and limited nature is probably more important.
There are a few vintage movements that Heuer watches use such as 7730 (in the Skipperera) for example or the Landeron movements in the dato 3147 which are very much poor relatives of the Valjoux 72, but that doesn’t stop the Skipperera being worth much much more than a 2447S Carrera.
