I’m honoured that you think the same as me Jeff, thought I may get shot down for dissing the Skipperera movement!

Lots of sellers of vintage chronographs make a big deal out of “driven by the same movement as the Paul Newman Daytona” but that’s not what makes that watch worth so much, it’s wrongly or rightly due to the dial being so desirable. Any old dial on a Valjoux 72 won’t cut it.

I don’t own either of the limited Carreras discussed but my bet is being such low production and both being “attractive” they will likely always be worth a good deal more than their original cost.
