Re: A 25-piece LE Monaco for Canada?

It's another "limited edition" Monaco from Tag Heuer who is trying to milk every last drop of its association with Steve McQueen. The dial is meant to reflect the gulf coloured overalls that McQueen wore in Le Mans. This model will be limited to 2000 pieces (hardly limited if you ask me as many watches eg. moonwatch Omega Speedmaster sell about the same number of watches in a year worldwide) and is already available in some markets (saw it in Japan Tokyo last week). By the way, the Tag Heuer 69 has only just started deliveries to customers this month - a whopping one and half years after it first confirmed it will go into production and Tag Heuer shops started taking deposits! No wonder they need so many "limited" editions to sustain business.
