NOS dial to the rescue------WebKitFormBoundaryVyqI

I bought this Gallet a few years ago and after purchase I found the dial had been refinished.

In the first pic look at the chrono minute register and try to figure it out with 15, 30 and 40 equally spaced numbers and tics that are 1.5 minutes apart. Must have been done by someone not familiar with Arabic numbers. Perhaps a Roman.

Recently on eBay I found a NOS Gallet two register 45 minute dial that appeared to have the right spacing of the dial mounting pins. I bid it and won then exchanged the two dials. Now the watch looks like it should according to the original catalog

It also matches the style of the 1st real watch I possesed the 3 register Gallet from 1959.
