both Heuer and Breitling had the prototypes in September 1968; both Heuer and Breitling introduced the models to the public on March 3, 1969.

I am sure that the two companies had different schedules for producing their catalogs, but there is no doubt that the two key events -- having the prototypes and having the big press conferences to introduce the models to the public -- occurred at the same times.
