I have never owned a pulsometer, do you ?
Great Carrera selection you have chosen, think the Pandas are really great ;-))

: Good question Arno.

: You'd think this would be easy for me. I mean, no-one is going to
: be surprised if I say it's a Carrera, right?!

: But it was a question I asked myself while I was working on the
: Carrera table, and I was unable to settle on one favourite... or
: five, come to that... I wonder if I csn get it under 10...?

: So here, in no particular order, are my favourites:

: - A 2447 T with the early red Tachy scale
: - A 3647 T also with the red scale, as I am debating over the
: number of registers I prefer on these!
: - An early Carrera with Pulsometer scale, largely because we see
: them so rarely
: - There has to be a first execution (date at 12) 3147 45 Dato in
: there - a silver one started my collection off, but silver dials
: are already well represented in this list, so I will opt for a
: 3147 N with black dial and registers
: - A contrasting registers Dato 12 - can't decide on regular or
: inverse panda!
: - A perfectly ordinary 1153 N. Just a timeless classic (for the
: early manuals, I tend to slightly prefer the silver/white dials.
: Once the automatics come along, I switch allegiance to the dark
: dials. Go figure...)
: - An 1158 CHN with white on black date ring. This comes closest to
: being my outright favourite, until the voices start going on
: about red tachy scales :)
: - A 110.571 NC. How more black could it be? None more black

: So one of those 8. Probably... today at least...

: Outside of the Carreras, what other Heuers do I like? Hmmm.
: Probably a Siffert Autavia at the top of the list; the 80s PVD
: Autavias; red Silverstone; the Daytonas; the triple calendars;
: PVD Monza; a grey Verona... and probably others if I were to
: think longer!
