Date Change Starts at 10:30 or 11:45? / Coming Soon . . .

Caliber 11 used the "jumping" / quicker change, which started at 11:45 PM. This required too much power, so the date change was slowed on the Caliber 11-I, so that the date change started at around 10:30 (and was more gradual) See the longer, more gradual "ramp", for the Cal 11-I and Cal 12, shown below.

Coming soon, a webpage that will cover all this . . . Cal 11 / 11-I / 12 / 15!!

: Cal. 11 date starts change @ 10:45 PM, isn't it?
: Here you see the 148 459. Early for a cal. 12, I think, and less
: than a thousand units after yours...
:
: The
: bridge is punched with 12 from the factory -I'm sure it has
: never been serviced at Heuer during its early days.
: The GF bracelet came with the watch and is marked with 3 69 - third
: quarter of '69 as we have already concluded.
