My earliest 1153 is an N, serial 1500xx; second execution hands, Calibre 11-I movement.

The date change doesn't kick in at all until 11:15 though, from which point it is gradual, not the sharp change of an 11. I wonder if the period of the date change was played around with for a while while the 11-I was being developed - I've been alternating between watching TV and the watch, but it was definitely not doing a thing with the date wheel between 10:30 and 11:15 and the rate of change now is consistent with it not having moved then too.
