the ghost

: OK, guys . . . we keep hearing that there are only 150 of the 18
: karat gold automatic Carreras, from the 1970's (Reference 1158).
: But I am having trouble believeing in this number.

: Please help me out with these Carreras . . . what am I missing
: here?

: Jeff

For what I am concerned, in almost 42 years of life I have never seen the Carrera 1158s.My watch is the first.

I live in Milan,a big town full of watches, but the golden carrera is a real ghost.

This reality is enough to understand the extreme rarity of the watch.

know the exact number of production is good for the statistics, but I have to say ''thank you'' to Mark Moss for the reporting of my Carrera.
