Calibre11 / Cortina
In Response To: Great review Jeff... ()

and huge thanks to you, David . . . you started a blog (which is not so difficult), and you kept it going with great content, day after day (which is very difficult).

On the subject of the Cortina, Heuer was looking to sell watches, in the 1970's, so they put the Caliber 12 movement (and others) into watches with a broad variety of sizes, shapes and colors; many of them are nice; lots of them appeal to many enthusiasts [which is how you sell watches] . . . right now, I am enjoying the Big Three (Autavia-Carrera-Monaco), plus the amazing-looking Cortina. Next up could be a Daytona; maybe a Monza; the rest . . . unlikely for me in the near term. The Cortina is a freak . . . fantastic timeless design, in an era when so many watches were oh so 70's.
