Re: Heuer 844>> Calling Paul!
In Response To: Re: Heuer 844>> Calling Paul! ()

: Hi James

: Fair enough - it's Jeff's call on the transition model piece.
: With regard to the pictures, and going back to the initial reason
: for this post, the idea was to get a definative list of 844
: models - from the french made ones onward. Great work has been
: done on this already from Paul and on the post on Cal11 but I
: wanted to try and dig up as much info on the movements as I
: could to go along side this. In addition to this there seems to
: be a number of different dial styles with various markings with
: various combo's of Professional, Professionel (french ones),
: 200m, Automatic, T SwissT and Swiss etc etc - would be good to
: see if this relates to the model gen or year or something.
: If you want to mail me the pic you have of the 844 and it's 8440 /
: 980.XXX Quartz cousins that would be cool. If poss we could then
: align this to the excellent spreadsheet and go from there. If we
: have to stick to true Heuer's then the Super Prof and
: Spirotechnique (did the Heuer one have Spiro on the dial.. I
: can't remember) could also be included too....

: As to giving credit to the image owners would look for advise from
: other members here on the correct etiquette.

: No rush either... we've all got day jobs!

: Cheers
: Ben

Ben,

Yes fella i'll email you some pics to be honest though there's loads of the little blighters. The Heuer 180.023 did not have the spiro logo only the Tag Heuer version.

When i get the time over the weekend i'll sort some pics and see what i can do with the table,

Later,

James.
