Yes it is 256016 to 256486 is the range, your new addition i make the 8th on my register with three known with original dials/hands but with a RE PVD case also, so serials not an option...

I'm not sure in my mind if they wee ever sold or a prototype/trial run? Difficult to know for sure, there do seem to be conflicting stories on OTD about this issue,if you search the past posts on the forum.
