Chronomatic lume was blue to begin with...

All the officialcat pics show Chronomatic 1133 with blue lume, trans were cream, or so i thought...?

In the flesh the cream with blue looks nicer, perhaps thats why they quickly changed, or maybe it didn't illuminate?

Its the fact that the lume, hands and dial are so original, no markings at all, no chips or cracks in the lume that make it such a beuatiful piece. I like patina but on a timewarp piece its nice to see it as the custome would have back in 1969!

Rich

: Great watch Rich, very well preserved and interesting to hear the
: story behind it too.

: Also interesting is how the lume on the Chronomatics goes to
: greeny-blue, while the transitionals go through pannacotta into
: tans/taupes. Wonder if, given what we sometimes see on the
: Chronomatic paint, whether that is just a change in lume
: material or a reaction with the paint too. Though now we've seen
: a paintless transitional too, perhaps it is just a material
: change.
