Great topic Mark. For me it was very simple. I always loved watches but never owned anything worth more than £100. While researching a Jaeger Le Coultre Geomatic I inherited from my Grandfather, I saw a Heuer Carrera 2447 S and never looked back. This is my first purchase and still the watch I wear more than any other. I could go on for hours about this watch but no words I can conjure up could adequately describe its aesthetic beauty. So here are some picture instead.
