Or rather, it gives us a "not before" date for the watch. From some of the GF dates we've seen before, it does appear they can take some time before being married up. With components coming from so many suppliers, I reckon we need some leeway, especially with the bracelets where they are optional - a batch could be made and sit in stock for some time. Same quarter possible, next maybe as if not more possible, two quarters not out of the question. Comfortable ascribing it to 1971, Q1 1971 a bit more speculative. Nice pair regardless!
