I actually had a bit of a 'mare getting decent shots, must have taken 60 at least! Most came out showing the dial with it's 'grey' look too. The Jpeg export function seems to enhance the greys too.
Sometimes when shooting you get those sessions that just don't work, other times I'll take 10 shots that are all great.
I had a load of really nice shots but the light was on the dial so that the script/Heuer shield couldn't be seen!
Having said that, the shots that did 'work' came out amazing! Really pleased.
