I'm always learning! There are a couple of photographer types at work, and I'm endlessly quizzing them about this sort of stuff, but I just can't get my head around it sometimes!!
The 3 c's - that's a great tip.
Stewart
: The colour will suffer when using jpeg and auto white balance
: especially under low light conditions. This is evident in one
: shot where the dial looks amost blue. The only guarenteed way
: around this is to shoot in RAW and adjust white balance in
: Photoshop. There are however many other variables most notebly
: your screen settings but thats a long and boring discussion
: thats not worth having. I call these glamour shots which portray
: the watch in a moody environment and the true likeness eg dial
: colour, are not paramount. In record shots, you should aim for
: true representation including colour, condition and clarity -
: ahhh, the 3c's.
