Re: watchmeisterin.....
In Response To: Re: watchmeisterin..... ()

Thanks for the response. Yes you are in this case that many people are making critics of wrong things even they dont know the truth. I think it was my missunderstanding.
I am hearing everyday many people about Heuer Collections and when I see the Bonhams Heuer Auction .I just wanna say it is a tragedy who has 60 heuer watches and can write a book for to make an auction of future. I know the Father from Watchmeisterin that her name is Yvonne and the Father name is Jakob .We were with her Father in the same school Technicum Le Locle and he is gone to IWC as an watchmaker and after Grandcomp builder and I was in Heuer . We are very good friends. They have unbeliveable watches from Heuer,Iwc and many Omegas and working with directly with manufacturer with parts. They have an Omega 3 watchmaker licence too. Only one in Switzerland. OK.I see also they are selling some watches in Ebay and sometimes the Hands are wrong or with an exchange dial . These watches mostly are coming to them direct to sale and most of them has no more original parts. The Tag Heuer they dont have anymore parts of the watches also the Omega has no more parts .These companies now making replacement parts and in the future you will see more watches with different parts. But when I see what the people are writing wrong things .I really wonder if they know about these forums .I see that here in Switzerland they are the only Company doing with all these staff in Ebay and online . But you know nobody is perfect. They also cant make all in right way neither I am . I am getting everyday Heuer watches for restaurations but i think all these discussions coming because of Heuer that they destroy everything in 1985 . Also the Breitling do the same. :-(

: One moment please. I simply wrote that it didn't look right that a
: response from another party was associated with an email address
: linked to the vendor, no more, no less. I wasn't even involved
: in the wider discussion, nor critical of the seller, so not
: party to any "unnecessary" or "untruthful"
: discussion.

: I have in fact bought a watch from watchmeisterin - it had a
: replacement, unsigned crown but I could tell that from photos
: beforehand and I am happy with it nonetheless, so I have no axe
: to grind. Actually, I've been appreciative from time to time, as
: when asking about the Heuer Indy that was for sale some time
: ago.

: People here contribute to the best of their knowledge about the
: watches and others hopefully respond with additional information
: to enhance that group knowledge. I don't think anyone claims to
: know everything about the watches and that's part of the point
: about a discussion forum, that that discussion does work to
: build on and solidify the body of knowledge. I have no interest
: when the postings devolve to accusation and counter-accusation
: but good healthy discussion and contributions are always
: welcome, especially from someone such as yourself with such a
: wealth of Heuer experience.
