Missing inner minutes/fifth of a second track on new one

I sincerely applaud the turnaround at Zenith and their support of their old classics. However, the new watch is missing the inner minutes//1/5th of a second track and that just makes it look a bit funny and too sparse to me, compared to the vintage piece. I prefer my watches to have that inner track for time keeping but maybe that's just me.
