Makes some sort of sense that France as an EEC member might have different labelling requirements for Swiss imports than (then) EFTA countries like the UK, as Switzerland was also a founder member of EFTA. The fact that other EEC founder countries like Germany and Italy don't appear to have any specific markings points to a bilateral trade agreement between France and Switzerland specifically, rather than between Switzerland and the EU. I suspect we could date the dropping of the text to the introduction of a more uniform export agreement between Switzerland and the EEC nations.
