The Usual: Specially Produced Heuer or Franken??
In Response To: “Broad Arrow“ Autavia ()

I was in contact with the seller shortly before and then during the auction. I seem to recall that the hands on the time-of-day and the chrono needles were unique.

I concluded that it was a "FrankenHeuer"; seller had the usual story about a "limited special series" produced for the military, to its special specifications. I have heard these same stories about 15 or 20 unique-looking Heuers. It is tough to either verify or disprove these stories, so I stayed away.

If you will send or post some photos, I will make another attempt to see what I can learn.

Thanks,

Jeff
