Of all the vintage fakes that we have been seing, very few were made in the Far East. Most seem to have been produced in Eastern Europe (Poland and the Czech Republic), Western Europe (Germany and England), and South America (Argentina). The Far East does not seem to be a regular source for the vintage fakes, frankens, etc.
In terms of the modern fakes, however, the Far East would seem to be the dominant source for the fake TAG-Heuers.

Just to clarify what I am seeing lately:
: Hi all
: Noticed the note re most of the fakes come from
: the far east but just thought I would share
: my they also have some of the originals.
: Imagine my face upon walking into a small old
: (rather than vintage) watch and camera shop
: in the rough end of Tokyo to find TWO 24hr
: master times in original boxes for sale. I
: could not resist buying them and it put a
: smile on my otherwise jet lagged face.
