Re: What do you say when someone says "Nice TAG"?

So I own the 1st Monaco re-issue...which is badged just Heuer. Do I say well actually its a Heuer by Tag Heuer but is a Heuer but says by Tag Heuer on the back but is in fact a re-issue of a Heuer before Tag Heuer owned the company - but in black as the origanal was blue. What the heck............?????

: I know what you mean. To be honest, I get embarrassed if someone
: mentions Heuer, but actually says 'Her', then when have to say
: it, I say it I say 'Hoy-er'.
: Best thing to do is just accept the compliment, they know no
: better, so they'll think you're being pompous. Some people say
: TAG as 'targ' - I say 'tag'.

: At the end of the day, you can look upon the merger of TAG &
: Heuer as a bad thing, I do & I don't - I try to remember
: that TAG was a cool brand in it's own right, with motorsport
: roots. Yes, we may see it as a bad thing now, but it's all part
: of Heuers history.

: At least we don't collect JLCs, I think that's probably much worse
: for pronunciation.

: Stewart
