Hi Stewart, yes I would say that these hands go with the 5th exec dial. The other main feature of the 5th exec dial which I failed to mention in my earlier post is the hour markers. 4th exec are plain steel with ridges, 5th exec have the black inset which ties in with the black inset hands - a feature that was common in many Heuers of the period i.e. the detail in the hour markers are repeated in the hands.
A quick search through the catalogues of the period show the 4th execution as 1970/71. The Bonhams listing seems a bit too early at 1969. I did not find the 5th exec dial variant in a catalogue and if we assume it followed on from the 4th exec dial i.e. post 1970 there is an overlap of Autavia manual wind models - compression case and new 70's style case. That must have been interesting for the salesmen.
