What do You Make of the Silver Printing?

To our experts:

What do you make of the silver printing on the dial? We saw it on one of Arno's Carreras (Lot 68), and now we see it on the Cougar Carrera.

Oddly enough, the Cougar Carrera is a 3147N with serial number 87994; serial number 87995 is a 3147N, with white printing.

Any ideas about this silver printing? Special run? Special order? Random? One thing for sure -- the contrast really makes the white Cougar "pop"!!
