Re: 741.603 vs 73463

Peter's quest for the Autavia Valjoux 7740 and Abel's response inspired me to do a picture comparison between the 741.603 so called "shauntavia" and the 73463. Lots of similarities and lots of small differences that I find most interesting. Abel has enlightened us to the differences between the 7740 and 7741 and that it is very odd to find the 7741 in the 741.603 "Shauntavia". The other odd thing about the "Shauntavia" is that the case is engraved 741603 which is of course the same as the manual wind GMT. The "Shauntavia" is a rare execution with less than 5 known samples one of which was a Kenyan Military issue and the serial numbers I have for both GMT and non GMT are all 297xxx. You can draw your own conclusion from these facts. Now some pictures:
