Moiré pattern effect?

Do you mean the Moiré pattern effect?

Normally this effect is compensated by a low pass filter after or in the sensors of your camera. There are camera types which do not use a low pass filter in order to deliver optimum undistorted sharpness (e.g. the Nikon D800E).
