I agree that buying new is an "experience" but only one that lightens your wallet. LOL Yes, there is instant gratification but I think you will soon experience buyer's remorse for having paid "retail".
I have the model you are looking at but it is the prior Heuer logo only model. It is very cool(and not for sale). Put out WTB feelers on the ChronoSales Forum and TImezone and someone will satisfy your desire for way less that retail.
Then you can have your watch and be satisfied that it is also a vintage Heuer only model. Best of both worlds IMHO.
