Kind of Funny, But You Still Have to Wonder ? ? ?
In Response To: Quite Entertaining ()

Kind of funny to read all these comments comparing the new AP models to the $100 mall watches (fashion watches).

Still, with AP pricing these to open at the $26K and $42K price points, and go way up from there, you have to assume that they did some research to determine that these watches would appeal to this demographic!! Right?

: follow. I think the movement is interesting and the case
: construction is certainly unique...I just can't believe that
: there weren't any focus groups or market research that a) showed
: the (CLOSE) similarities between the 11:59 and a bunch of mall
: quartz watches, and b) tested the reaction among collectors.
: It's a horribly executed design and even worse roll-out, given
: they've stated how important the launch is to the brand's
: future. Hey, we thought the Autavia's bezel width was a
: disaster...could have been worse!

: And that name....don't even get me started.
